Who says we have to grow up. Everyone says that men never really grow up...so why do we? Another reason I had to have this image is because it showed a girl in a puddle, rather than the much more common boy.
Do you remember that song? "Girls just want to have fun" was stuck in my head for 3 days after seeing the image, so how could I not use it here.
I, again, stepped out of my comfort zone by using some brighter paper. I still added my all time favorite embellishments, lace, flowers and pearls. After all, it is a very "girly" image.
Hopefully we never really grow up. Spending time playing with the little ones is so much fun. I have the wonderful memories of those crazy times with my kids. They are all grown up now and I have no idea if they remember jumping in puddles with me. I am so glad I do. Now to wait for my grandson to grow old enough to jump around in the puddles!
