I looked through my images and found one I purchased that has been saved yet unused. This is Country Maisy with Birds by Di's Digi Downloads. She is so pretty and Innocent. To fit her in this nestie frame, I had to use a size that left a big white area. Paper piercing seemed the perfect filler. This piercing pattern is new from Fred She Said which was made for the Nestie label #8 or the SU Top Note Die.
I added some Winsor & Newton Iridescent Medium to the flowers to create a subtle shimmer, almost like a fine morning dew.
Using my Sakura silver gel pen, I outlined all the flowers.
I need to mention this paper! It is called Vintage Luster which I purchased from Paper Temptress. You can get a good look at it when you click on the left photo below. What beautiful swirls it has. There is no need to add texture to the paper with an embossing folder! Best of all, though she only sells it in the silver/white, you can make it any color you would like to match your other paper perfectly. All you need to do is give it one coat from your makers, which is absorbed instantly and evenly. You will not loose any of the luster either! Stunning!!!
I love this ribbon. I have had it for over a year, maybe even 2. It simply has not matched any projects I have made until now. How exciting it was to find it matched perfectly with the paper piercing.
The sentiment says : "Happiness comes in many forms but always from the heart." which is from the Stampin' Up set "Heard from the Heart".

Very Quick Ornament Tutorial:
A few people have asked about the ornaments I made that I posted here. Here is a quick run down and an other tutorials for you. I decided to post these for you rather than recreate the wheel, LOL.
The first thing I did was make some rub-ons of the digital images. You can read how to do this in my tutorial here.
Next I made the glitter ornament out of a round plain one that I purchased after Christmas last year. Who here does not love and after holiday sale!?!!! The price was super, just about 50 cents per pack of 6!!!
As that drip dried, I made the heart ornament. This is a flat glass ornament that I purchased at the same sale. Another 50 cents per ornament I believe. I chose the heart since it is less Christmas like, therefore can be used all year long as well as hung on a tree.
To add the shine, I went over the image with the Sakura glitter pens AFTER adhering to the ornament. All other coloring was done before adhering.
I did the same thing to the round ornament after the excess ink finished dripping out of it.
Finally adding some to the outlines stickers and running my Kryon gold pen around the edge of the flat ornament.
To easy really. I made some of these for Christmas gifts last year. Very quick and easy, which is what I needed since he is the youngest of 10!
Here is a video tutorial for you showing how to make the glitter ornament, which is absolutely stunning without any stickers or images. I am sorry that I do not yet know how to embed a video into a blogger post, since I have only been using it for about 3 weeks. All you need to do is click on the link below and you will be brought right to it.
