Butterfly Moment

I am brushing off my rubber stamps once agian and found this pretty image from Elizabeth Bell (or is it Sugar Nellie, both names are on  package). This image is called "Bird House". It actually has the girl looking up at a tree with a bird house in it. I cut the girl and tree apart so that I could still stamp them together or seperate if I wanted.

For this card, I decided to stamp the girl only, so she can be looking at a butterfly. I made the butterfly and am so happy with how it turned out. I will be putting up a tutorial tomorrow so you can make your own.

I couldn't seem to find papers to match one another, but thought this paper was so nice for the image. I opted to run the nestie layer through my big Shot with an embossing folder of swirls instead of going crazy looking for a super long time.

I kept the rest of the card simple so as not to distract from the image or butterfly, which I wanted to be the main focal points.

The inside is stamped with "Enjoy The Moment". Butterflies can be so quick to flutter away, any moment I see them close up I enjoy tremendously. This sentiment seemed so fitting and can be used for many occassions.

I am entering this card in the following challengs:
Baby Buds: ribbon and bows
Let's Ink It Up: no digi and embossing (purple layer is embossed though it is hard to see. If you click on the first pic, you will be able to see some of it)
CCEE Stampers: swirls (purple layer is embossed with swirls
Little Miss Muffet: use designer paper
Alphabet Challenge:  "R" is for ribbon
Craft Pad: use ribbon
Ellephantastic Challenge: cute with butterfly
Die Cut Dreams: garden theme
Dream Valley Challenges: new beginnings (I hope the catapillars new beginning counts)
The Crafty Purple Frog Challenge: things with wings
Cute Card Thursday: signs of spring
Delightful Challenges: spring
Paper-Crafting Journey: things with wings
A Lota Rubber Stamps: all about bugs (I hope a butterfly is considered a bug)
Happi Challenges: Purple
Pile It On: up, up and away

Don't forget to stop by tomorrow for the tutorial :o)

Oh my Sandy what a little beauty, those papers look gorgeous so does the image, I have this one but haven't used it for absolute ages, I am going to have to dust some more of my rubba off, lol. I love how you have created that beautiful butterfly as well, all beautiful and shiny, a first class job.

I will do you a template for the central fold stepper, your comment was so uplifting I have been struggling with my mojo of late and wasn't sure about it, lol.
