Faith, Hope and Love

I saw this image so long ago and did not purchase it. Then guess what...I forgot where I saw it. The other day while blurffing, I saw it on someones project. Off I went to Whimsey Stamps and purchased it right way.
After coloring it, I cut the wings to seperate them, shaped them a bit and popped them up with dimensionals.

When I colored it I thought, oh no...it looks so Christmasy (is that a word, lol). Thankfully the paper transformered it into a more spring like image/card.

I often purchase 12x12 paper pads, though I am not sure why. The images tend to be to big for cards and I find scrapbooking to be the hardest thing I have ever tried. Then it occured to me...I know, I am a bit slow, lol...Use the corners of these papers for a card. This paper was so pretty and had the pattern along with the image, so I decided to only use one layer of the paper. Then again, being so pretty, I did not want to cover it up either.

I noticed butterflys are attracted to flowers of the same color as they are. Probably to camaflage themselves. so this paper and coloring seemed a good pairing to me.

I added the crystals to make it look like the butterfly is just leaving the flower. I am not sure that kind of flower would be in a butterfly garden, I don't have them in mine, but maybe she/he just stopped to rest, lol

As you can see, I simply copied the front of the card for the inside, coloring another of the images for the top. I did not add paper to write a sentiment on so as not to cover the pretty flower. I think that I will be able to write on the pattern paper.

I am going to enter this card in the following challenges:
Creative Crafts: lace
Flourishes: butterflys (must leave a comment to be entered in the challenge)
Creative Belli: "C" embellishments
Scrapbook Sisters: spring flowers

Your Next Stamp Challenge: sparkle
