I copied this from the Digital Tuesday Challenge blog, so if you experience Deja vu that is why, tee he he
This week's challenge is:
USE YOUR SCRAPS
We are asking you to dig into your pile or drawer of scraps and use up some of those bits and pieces that you haven't gotten around to yet. It's a great way to make use of what you have and to feel good about it. I'm slowly working through my pile.
As always you must use at least one digital image and your project must be new.

~The Sponsor~
My Grafico is our sponsor again this week and they are offering 1 set plus 30% off in store to the lucky winner. They were especially generous and allowed the DT to use their Monkey Fun Set by Primsy Doodle Designs. It's adorable and perfect for this week's challenge.
Now for some DT inspiration. The DTC gals went all out this week and I'm sure you'll enjoy what they've created.
My card for the challenge used some paper scraps that I had. Since I have been trying to used colored paper for my base, I have plenty of white card stock already cut.
I also used some left over tags and shell buttons that I purchased back when I first started paper crafting just over 2 years ago. I had already ripped a piece off of the cork paper, but would not really call it a scrap since it was still in a sheet. It worked really well for the sand I thought.
I also had some "fluffy" yarn from back then. I cut off the fringe part of the yarn and used it for the Hair on the coconuts.
I used dimensionals to give the beach scene a bit of pop. The sky was made with a sky rubber stamp the a dear and sweet fellow stamper got for me. I added some chalk to imitate a sunset or rise depending on if you are a morning person or not, LOL
Here are some photos to show the dimension and the inside of the card.
Well, I am off to take care of my poor pup and hopefully get into the craft room!
Thank you for spending some of you time with me today. Have a super one!

Your card is adorable Sandy. You have put so much thought into it with the beautiful sky, the extra touch on the coconuts and the seashells. The cork looks fantastic as sand. Love how you colored the image!!
Hope puppy gets well soon!!
