Paper Piercing, Paper Stitching and Lace

Fancy fold stitched card I went about making this card a bit different than I usually start. I actually chose the paper I wanted to use first! It is so much easier than trying to match after the image is finished! This most likely is not news to you all, but it was a revelation for me, LOL. I have to thank Adrina for answering my question about how she goes about choosing her paper. I had such fun making this card. I played just for the sake of playing today.

After picking out the paper, I went to The Daily Dare site and looked through lots of challenges. If your looking for some new challenges or one place you can go through a lot at the same time, this is a fantastic site for you. I found 8 challenges on their site! You can see them at the end of the post.

I have lots of pictures of this this card since it has so many "pages" for lack of a better word, LOL You will need to click on them to get a better view of the piercing, stitching and other details.

The rest of the paper is from Paper Temptress. As you can see from the photos, there is such a beautiful amount of shimmer to this top layer. This paper is the Glimmer Paper in Autumn Hay text weight. The rest of the paper is from the Basic line in light yellow and pink.
